I was referred to an acupuncturist to have NAET done as I have some food intolerances that severely limit my diet. I had never heard of it so I did some research and came across this book and ordered it. I wasn't impressed as most of it is testimonials with limited explanation on how or why the technique works. I'm a Christian and know that muscle testing is based on occultic principles of divination which is why I decided that this isn't for me. I came across an article by another Christian woman who got sucked into the world of muscle testing and NAET. I wasn't surprised to learn that the 'clearing' didn't hold, and they had to keep doing it over and over again. Years ago I knew several people who were into something similar and that was their experience with whatever it was they did using muscle testing. I would advise all Christians to avoid this as it opens a door into the occult.

This book is truly life changing! I began doing treatments before reading the book and I can only say that it is a total mystery how most of this stuff works. We've got the basics down, yes, but how your body is able to just bounce back after years of being so ill all over an allergy? Crazy! It is simply wonderful that it exists and the practice itself should be more widely known. Thank you, Devi, for sharing your findings!

I really like this book and we've had great success with a certified NAET Practitioner. In fact, it is the 2nd book I've bought and am giving this one to someone interested in the process). I'd give 2 stars for the condition of the "new" book. We received it with torn binder and bent cover (which also had some wavy bend to some of the pages). I don't think it was the packaging, because it came in tact. For the condition of a new book, I was disappointed. But the content is great, therefore, I give the book 5 stars.

I have suffered from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Lyme Disease for more than 10 years, and have found limited relief using conventional Western therapies (hormone replacement, antibiotics, nutritional supplementation, etc.). A skeptic at first, I have found that NAET really works, and I am grateful for this book and my practitioner. I have done about 15 sessions now, and find that my energy has markedly improved, the pain in my muscles, muscle wasting in certain areas of my body (back, abdomen, buttocks), is diminishing, and I am also able to get frequent attention by someone looking at my problems energetically, rather than through the very close-minded scope of chemical therapies. Based on the long delay of my diagnosis -- by even top docs (Mayo Clinic) -- I feel like "energy blockages" as Devi calls "allergies" are probably also as much to play with the trauma of social isolation, and my body's energy closed up a long time ago. NAET seems to address this especially well, and I'm not sure if you're going to find that kind of relief through doctors, the same doctors that couldn't provide relief in the first place.I would recommend this book to almost anyone at least as a primer in acupuncture (on which NAET is based), and, then, for any number of other "undiagnosed" or "untreatable" conditions in which one has not found relief elsewhere. You might find that it is a little bit out there at first, but think of the first hospitals in the mid-1800's when surgeons were killing their patients by visiting the morgue in the basement, and, then, not washing their hands prior to surgery. Then think about how overprescribed everyone is now -- from erectile dysfunction to heart disease to mental illness. There's something to this system brings to the table, and, if slightly imperfect or "alien" now, think how it might be ten or twenty years from now.

I'm not reviewing the book, but the information you get from it. I had NAET treatments 13 years ago which were extremely effective. I plan to restart them to take care of problems I didn't address before. Read some of the success stories to find out what it can do. Also it provides wonderful help for Autism patients!

Got this to have on hand for if the SHTF. Need to read it now too, but haven't gotten to it yet. Looks to be a good and interesting book, wish I was more help, may add more after I actually read it.

After almost 2 years of seeing specialist, and getting every test done known to man, this book has changed my life and health already. it is amazing how many health problems are attributed to undiagnosed and seemingly unrelated (although they are) allergies/sensitivities. You don't have to have anaphylactic symptoms but can still be reacting negatively in other ways that you don't realize are from sensitivities or allergies. Reading the symptoms for each item completely explained lifelong health issues and even minor annoyances which were due to sensitivities to specific items, and even vitamins. When you clear the sensitivity, you notice an immediate difference. I have been clearing the items in one treatment, it is non invasive and it is amazing. It is important to read the book before starting treatment to understand the process so that it will be successful for you. I highly recommend this to everyone. Even if you think it doesn't apply to you, you would be surprised how many symptoms are linked to specific food/airborne/chemical sensitivities.

The book is not a self treatment book . It does explain all the ins and outs except the actual treatment. I have a friend who's child was lactose intolerant and to our supersize it worked wonderfully. Good luck on your allergy relief journey
