About the Author

Dr. Jerry Robeson (1938–1999) and his wife, Dr. Carol Robeson (1939–2016), were missionaries to Latin America for twenty years. They ministered in Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Paraguay, Jamaica, Mexico, and Chile. They specialized in open-air crusades that were held every night in an area of the city where a new church was needed. One crusade church in Costa Rica, for example, had more than ten thousand people in attendance. The Robesons maintained an active television and radio ministry. They produced and directed more than twelve hundred Christian television programs in Latin America and the United States, and many hundreds of radio broadcasts. They also appeared as guests on television programs all over the United States. They coauthored Strongman’s His Name, What’s His Game? and Strongman’s His Name…II. Jerry and Carol graduated from Northwest College in Kirkland, Washington, and Vision International University in San Diego, California, where they each earned a Ph.D. in Theology in 1996. They had two daughters. Until 1999, the Robesons were both very active in teaching seminars in the United States and Latin America. After Jerry went to the Lord, Carol continued on with their ministry of seminars and retreats.

This book is a must have for spiritual warfare. This book looks at a grouping of classes of the demonic. It targets the major group and then its subclasses. It instructs you on binding and loosing along with the correct words to say ti fill in what has been removed.

This book is a great read. It clearly shows that the Bible teaches that Christians can have demons. Oh how many false doctrines will some churches fall for. The authors have compiled a list of all the Strongmen (ruling demons) that they found mentioned in the Bible. It's a good place to start the deliverance process. First off, pray, "I plead the protective Blood of the Lamb over me, over (insert names of your family members here), and over my dwelling/property and everything in it." One also needs to be mindful to ask for forgiveness of ALL sins known and unknown (listing known) in the name of Jesus first AND be sure to forgive all others and ask God to forgive them too. Keep in mind, demons can see our spiritual states, and they have a right to stay and torment if there is so much as one person you have not forgiven for sinning against you. Upon asking for forgiveness, do not let a lying demon bring up past sin again. Stand firm in the knowledge that God has forgiven you upon you repenting and asking Him to, and rebuke that demonic thought in the name of Jesus. Demons have to have a sin to anchor to...so them trying to make us doubt God's forgiveness of a sin is a desperate attempt to get us to sin so they aren't swept out of us by the order for them to go combined with the authority and power of the name of Jesus.Be mindful to break all curses that might be upon your or another's life in the name of Jesus since some demons are specifically sent to fulfill curses spoken over us there due to our own idle words, or idle or purposeful words of others. Curses have to find sin in order to land, so asking for God's forgiveness before breaking curses in the name of Jesus is a must. Be sure not to forget to ask for forgiveness for the sins of your fathers (ancestors)...then ask God to release you from any generational curses in the name of Jesus.Then get on to the part that this book deals mainly deals with, simply mean and say out loud, "In the name of Jesus, I bind up the spirit of (insert a strongman demon's name here) and all related, cooperative, and underling unclean spirits in the name of Jesus, and I order you all to get out right now in the name of Jesus." Be sure to tell them to get out like you mean it and be sure you use the name of Jesus. We don't have the legal right to throw them out, but Jesus does, so we must do so in His name. Demons are diabolical beings and expert lawyers...they will hold onto all technicalities and refuse to give up and leave unless beaten legally. Be angry upon encountering evil demonic trespassers since you as a believer have a right to be free because of what Jesus did at the cross for us. Be sure your voice is firm/authoritative when ordering unclean spirits to leave...it is okay to feel a swell of anger and have that in your voice. Show demons no mercy. The Word (Bible) is a sword that cuts demons. A good and easy to remember Sword to use against unclean spirits if they resist after telling them to get out is to say this out loud a few times, "By His (Jesus') stripes we are healed." There was not much distinction between healing and deliverance (forcing demons to get out of a person) in the New Testament...for a reason (think about who causes sickness, injuries, accidents, mental illness, torment, death & disease - satan and his demonic army).Once you read this book, these are other Scripturally sound books listed below to put on your "To Read" lists for jewels God taught each of these authors that they have shared with us all to aid in our own supernatural walks. Outstanding book! Currently reading this with my Christian Bookclub and it also goes hand in hand with my Apostle's teaching on spiritual warfare. I like how the author's made it to where you can write notes down in it.

This is a book I have read many times over past 25 years. I met the authors long ago and they gave a short seminar to our fellowship. At first I thought the writing was a little elementary, spiritually, but I would say the greatest tool this book provides are the trees that show the "roots" of spiritual oppression. The scriptures related to them may not make sense to some as much as other verses might have, but I appreciated what the dear authors were trying to accomplish. The commentaries are easy to comprehend; some may think too simplified---but definitely have value. I believe just the research done on the "roots" of how spirits work together to cause strongholds are definitely worth buying the book!

Really helpful information and training for anyone who is being asked to help people who are suffering from nagging spiritual and/or mental torments. The Robesons give helpful strategies for working in an area that not many churches or ministries are willing to go. We have seen great progress and freedom for people because of so much of what is written in this manual.Also, we received our book quickly and in perfect condition. I will use this provider again.

This is a very Christian book in plain language that helps us understand and defeat demonic strongholds. It was written some time ago but it is just as useful today. K. Dentley of You Tube recommends this book. It gave me some new perspectives on demonic strongholds and how to get rid of them.
