Lynda Barry, please never stop writing! This is a beautiful hardcover book that's a reissue from an earlier paperback, but it's updated with a ton of new comeeks in the back to go along with the classic ones in the front. I couldn't wait for it to arrive, and I wasn't disappointed, I even ordered one for a friend of mine. Mrs Barry's talent for being able to capture the way working class kids really talk, can transport some of us back into time, and for those few seconds you may feel like your 4th grade self, it's quite a trip! Rage on Lynda Barry, rage on!

I found this book in the library after hearing about Lynda Barry. The book is page after page of pure laughter, and a great compendium of cartoons illustrating how kids growing up in the 50's and 60's entertained themselves before the internet and smartphones. I highly recommend this book for both its entertainment and social history value
