Pro: Content is very useful, so for us it was worth getting.Con:1) No index!! That's inexcusable. And Search is NOT an adequate substitute:* Search finds every occurrence, no matter how irrelevant. One needs to scroll & scroll & eventually find it - if one hasn't given up after looking at dozens of items* Search for Hagar Qim or some of the other very top attractions in the whole country- & nothing comes up! Probably because they're spelled with special Maltese characters- which one can't type- so NO WAY to find it by search!2) No links in obvious places. E.G. from overall Valletta map to detailed maps. This is an ebook, not a PDF - Lonely Planet should put links EVERYWHERE they're useful

The e-version is Incredibly well organized and it was so helpful in helping us decide what to see on what days. It is organized by areas of the island, which is really useful because you want to cover sights in the same area on the same day. The Lonely Planet guide really helped me plan my itinerary.

Not a bad travel book, it's short, but then it's a small island. It's not a fancy, detailed guide but it'll do the trick. After reading the novel The Kapillan of Malta which is a great read for getting an overview of Maltese history, this should help guide me through our brief stay on the island.

Everything one needs to visit Malta. Concise, well organized, easy to use. Gets beneath the surface.

This guide was very helpful as we traveled around Malta on our honeymoon in December 2014. We visited Malta for 1 week from the USA and we were able to visit almost all of the places highlighted in the book during that time. It was a good read on the plane on the way there and the place descriptions where helpful.

It is complete and extremely helpful in allowing us to get around Malta as well as giving us fine options as to where to stay there and on Gozo.

This is one of the few travel guide book available for Malta. It does the job.
